They are just a simple fleece sack, but her secret is to use a stretchy elastic strap at the top to attach the Velcro. The little extra stretch helps secure them better, and they don't fall off as often.
I order 3XS for 4-pound Jillie, and they work perfectly. I get 2XS for 10-pound Eddie, but I find the elastic straps are just a little too long. I can't secure them as snuggly. Next time I order for him, I'm going to ask if she'll put the 3XS length straps on the larger bootie.
I'm sure they could be made pretty simply.
