It was a freak accident while playing on the floor with my other two Yorkies. My Axl batted at him and Jeter fell back and banged his head on the hardwood floors. I saw it happen and I called his name cause he would not get up so I went and picked my poor baby up. His little heart was still beating but he would not move..just blinked his eyes. I rushed back to get my husband and called the vet. they told me to get in fast, I live a block away from them. By the time we got their his little heart was getting weaker and weaker. My vet tried so very hard to save him, but his little heart just gave out. He said Jeter had no broken bones and that it was head tarama. I am so heartbroken right now. I miss him so very much!
