I have never looked into owning a show yorkie or a yorkie to breed. Im sure they are more than 1000.00 I just wouldnt pay that, because I dont ever plan on doing either.
Ive seen yorkies in the papers in my area akc registered anywhere between 250.00 to 1000.00..
Ive seen a very few partis run as low as 900.00. Dogs arent generally highly priced here. I was a poodle person and when I got Tucker (yorkie mix) he was the first "yorkie" Ive ever owned. So I didnt do any research on the breed untill he was born. Thats when I found this board, read and fell in love with them. So up untill then I didnt know how much they actually were.
