Great thread, this is all good to know. Both of mine have tartar and the vet has already said that they will need dental at their next checkup.
I do brush, but have not kept up. I used Petlize on Hot Rod a couple of times and he was not a fan so I let it go by the wayside. I really need to get back on it.
