This is the type of relationship that I have with Missy and Dora's breeder as well. She phoned me the first night that Dora came home worried sick about how Dora was adjusting. This is after knowing me for a whole year, and trusting that I was the best home possible for one of her puppies. She just cares so much! I have been in contact with her every couple of weeks since I got Missy last year. We always share pics...I send her pics of my girls, and she sends me pics of Missy and Dora's Mom and Dad. She sewed Missy that fancy red dress that's in my avatar and has 2 more on the way. It is so nice to have a good relationship with a breeder, as you said...if any questions arise you can ask. It was also nice to be able to sit on her livingroom and kitchen floor (where they were raised) with the litter for a couple of hours before bringing my furbaby home. I really enjoyed watching how the parents interacted with the pups. It's just all such a neat experience. I wouldn't do it any other way now.
