It's not uncommon the have teeth removed at spay or neuter. Your vet should probably have discussed this with you prior. Hot Rod had 14 teeth removed. I knew he needed some out just didn't know how many until it was all done. He was getting double rows of teeth. Hope your boy is feeling better today.
