First of all, congrats on your baby, now a puppy should never be allowed to roam your home alone, WAY too many dangers for her and the risk of her ruining your stuff.. she is way too young. I tell all my adoptive parents that an X pen is a MUST have before you can bring your baby home.
you can set it up and put your baby there when you need to leave your home. you can set it up with a crate for naps, a puppy pad for puppy to relief itself and a cup of water and some food, some chew toys and a bully stick.
you can let her out when you are home and able to supervise her..
