hmmm how low? and what is the protein count on food you are feeding - it can be a few things ple, lymphangastasia, etc but i would not freak out is your dog having any symptoms at all? Does your dog vomit when in car going to office? was it a 12 hr fast on that blood work - usually if low protein is a serious thing the dog has alot of diarhea going on and is losing protein so if your dog is not doing this I would not stress too badly and also the stress of taking blood can affect some levels as well so does your dog get stressed when getting blood taken? Also usually if real serious your dog will have low cholesterol, low protein and low calcium
