Your vet, totally, did the right thing, except for the lack of communication...Better under anethesia, once, instead of twice...As Mardelin said, yorkies are notorious for retaining teeth...My little Apple had her top canines at 12 months, when I had her spayed...They were so tight, and the roots were so long, I wonder if they would have EVER come out, and that's not a good thing for their mouth...Be thankful your vet did this, and ask him/her to communicate w/u about all details of procedures in the future...
