My 1 yr old girl weighs 5.6 lbs. Her parents were both 4 lbs and tiny. I've been told shes a larger yorkie but shes VERY skinny. You just never know how they will turn out until they get there. I've read that the size of the parents doesn't always determine the size of the pups. I understand where you are coming from and I don't think you sound shallow as everyone wants to get what they pay for. Unfortunately, with a puppy, it just can't be guarenteed. I don't think you've been dooped by the breeder. It may very well be a first. Just know that if you are already in love with your baby, you will love her no matter how big she gets!! |
