Jax is adorable! Have you tried pulling up his hair in a topknot? That would eliminate some of the hair hanging down in his eyes.
Petsilk makes a hair gel, that will help keep the hair up. Also, there is a product called "Stick-'em Up" that works much the same way as gel. I like the Stick'em Up, because it comes in a bottle like nail polish and is easy to just brush a little on the flyaway hairs we get. I bought mine from a YTer - mimimomo (Jenny), she's sell Madan brushes and other hair accessories/grooming products.
The short hair stage is just something you have to put up with until the hair grows out. LOL...just like when we cut off our hair and then have to suffer it's growing back out.
