ok now don't laugh this was my first try at making a carrier for my Tristan but I thought if you saw how I did the window you would like this way better.....if you look closely there are just two snaps above the long window on the outside and when I sewed the flap on I put the "flap holders" on under it so when it is closed you only see the snaps....I love your bag but thought you might like the way I figured out how to do it.... I have no intention on making these for anyone because my sewing machine is falling apart but it did an ok job and my baby loves it and I had to make a purse to match....
