You all are so awesome! I know he is just a baby, and really different from other puppies being so little and all. I know what you mean about them needing to be kept with their momma for the 12 wks. The breeder we got him from lets his go at 6 wks!! I couldn't believe that.. but I am glad he couldn't get rid of Gizmo until he gave him to us! (We got him for $150 because he didn't know that his female was in heat, and wasn't sure which male was the daddy, so he couldn't register them ;-) ) Anyway, any success is a success to me, and I know he will get it in time. I keep him in the kitchen / living room with the rest of the house gated off. But I do bring his crate in my bedroom at night. He is a little sweetie, and already runs to meet me when I come home from school. Thanks for all the advice guys!!
