I am so happy to read these words!! I understand that you've already paid for this little guy and you're already attached to him. It sounds like you're going to give him a great home! Please understand that a lot of us feel very strongly about puppy mills - our remarks were not intended for you personally, but for everyone who may be looking for a new puppy. And, now you'll know for the future (because yorkies are addicting - it's hard to have just one)!
You'll be doing great with the walks and play time for his exercise. And, yes, you should feed him at least 3 times a day (at least while he's a puppy). I do agree that Iams is a horrible food. You might take a look at YT's health & diet forum and go back through some past threads. There is great advice there on foods, etc. Just look around YT and you'll find all kinds of helpful things - from grooming to training to healthcare....it just goes on.
I don't think I've said this yet - Welcome to YT and congratulations on your new puppy! I hope you'll post more pics when you get him.
