I'm emphasizing "breeder" because I cannot imagine any reputable person not knowing the exact weight of each puppy. It is so important to weigh them regularly to make sure they are gaining as they should and track their progress. Also, it is highly unlikely that a puppy this age is eating too much or is overweight. Puppies are amazing at eating just what they need and no more. Honestly, this "breeder" scares me to death. |
This "breeder" is on the USDA puppymill list. Millers can't be bothered to weigh them or even handle them.
Eight week old puppies are not overweight. The little guy should stay with his mother for another month. You can't exercise him down to a certain weight.
