Thats why I use sweatshirt sleeves. They get used to the "mauling", and you can get them very small.
They can get used to almost anything if you start early enough, they just see it as normal.
Someone asked about where I get denim, our (Canadian) Petsmart... has lots of boy / girl stuff. It is cold here, so lots of dogs get dressed. Also on-line at
