I dont think he is too far behind on his shots. I would definitely keep him away from dogs if you do not know their history. If the dogs you have are are current they can't catch anything from him . (as far as I know but Im not a vet) But he could get sick if he was around a sick dog not being vaccinated, atleast that is how I have always understood it from my vet.

I think the first vaccine is at 6-8 weeks?? Maybe someone else here will know.
