But really, they wash up very easily bc they're meant for bodily fluid stains, so they're pretty durable.
I wash a bunch of pads together at a time when the dogs are w/ me in 1 room, then dry. |

If there is soiling I just pick it up and flush it. If it is soft I wipe off what I can with tissues and flush it, then wash the pad.
When I am waiting to have enough pads for a wash I fold the used pads in fourths with the dirty side in and stack them next to the washer. (My washer is in the garage). When I have four I do a load. This contains all the smell that may develop over time. |

I have about 18 washable pads that I rotate through, placed throughout the house (with 6 yorkies I need several

). I put a few in the washer and run it through a rinse and spin cycle, then I do a regular wash cycle with detergent and then dry on medium heat.
I have some that I got from Petsmart a few years ago that still work and look fine, but they were really expensive. The last ones I got I ordered from YT member RDB911 and they are great. They're just as sturdy but cost much less.
