Actually I thought it felt strange to put the pee pads in the same washer in which we wash everyone's clothes but I've gotten used to it and I usually follow a certain pattern where I will run a hot sanitizing whites load as the first load after. Thats a thought? I also have a couple dozen pads to I can a bit before washing them.
