well in your dog's defense- he is a puppy- puppies squirm- maybe your vet was recommending it for socialization- i doubt he is anything other than a normal playful puppy!!!
The classes are great for socialization but it depends on who your instructor is- i would ask for a schedule so you can go and watch the teachers before you sign up for their class.
