IMO she needs to be on the proper medication, and the proper diet (and the proper amount fed to her at least 5-6 times a day), she needs to get the Lactulose dose correct that she is pooping at least 3x a day and that it is like soft ice cream, and she has to gain a little weight and be a little stronger, otherwise she would probably die on the table.

I do think this pup should have started on the proper protocol when the LS symptoms first started to show. And alot of times general Vets do not know this proper protocol and they do refer you to a specialist. I live in NY and we have some of the best Vets here. When my Roxy's BAT came back sky high, my Vet was honest and said this is not his field, and he referred me to a specialist. So that could be the case here too, maybe her Vet did tell her to see a specialist and maybe she just never followed thru - IDK...

I hope things work out for the best though....

Rescue would be my first option if I couldn't provide the proper care

Maybe surgery is not presently an option, but I can tell you that the people who have her don't know that...or the woman helping. She has never seen this puppy...and I am not sure at this point if a vet has either.

This puppy needs to be with people who CAN afford her and give her the best of veterinary care. Sorry, but she is NOT getting that. I cannot take her, but know rescues who can; and they would do what I would do...take her IMMEDIATELY to a specialist!!!

Sometimes I think this is all made up...either a troll or a scam.......and then I actually HOPE it is because I know what the outcome is going to be if this is a real live puppy. I hope I am proven wrong.....but seriously doubt it.
