If Melody is placed in rescue, those who wish can make a tax deductible donation directly to the rescue to offset her treatment. It's the only safe way to donate money for her care.

If this is all true, I can't see how anybody could allow a sweet little puppy to suffer
Not doing the right thing for Melody, which is IMHO , turning her over to a rescue where she can be fully cared for propperly, and NOT taking her to a vet who specializes in LS cases, is being neglectful. Yes, I understand Melody is being treated with medication, but how long is this going to sustain her? It takes a while for the meds to even work, meanwhile , Melody is still suffering and in a great deal of pain and confusion.
My opinion , is that this is cruel and inhumane. To allow a animal to be very ill , and not get do what is in the best interest of Melody. Makes me feel very sad and
