If that is what your Vet is telling you then perhaps you may want to seek out another Vet in your area?
When it comes to our furbabies, peace of mind is priceless! My Vet won't even give more than one shot at a time for a toy breed dog. Even if I'd ask for it (which I wouldn't) they still won't do it. It's their Office Policy. And with Ivan, I always get a Benedryl shot first, then we wait 15-20 min. in the lobby and then he gets whatever shot he is due. I'm very glad to hear Missy is feeling better.
