But Melody is
not going to be "doing better." This is NOT a disease that goes away or cures itself. When Liver Shunt prevents itself, one of two things will happen:
1) The dog will get surgery and it will be fixed
or
2) Nothing will be done, and the dog will die.
There is no avoiding death if liver shunt isn't taken care of. It may not be immediete, but it WILL happen eventually. and Melody will have a miserable, miserable life until that point.
She NEEDS help. I understand that she loves and doesn't want to give up her baby, but if she can't pay to save her life, THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION.
