Talked with Krystal this morning to check up on Melody. I see in her post the she explained the Melody was bloated. This sometime happen when the change in food occurs and the added medications.
Melody had have now "pooped twice". Her tunny is bad to normal and is better this morning. Krystal's vet and also the specialist her said it would take a few days for medication to start clearing out bacteria from the system.

I'm expecting a call later this afternoon from the specialist with recommendations pertaining to Melody. Spoke with a few doctor's yesterday and even though surgery maybe an option, it's not always the necessary means to solve the problem. A lot of facts have to be taken in consideration
and even thought surgery many be indicated, it's not always the best option. Especially when you referring to a very small yorkie and in this case Melody falls in this categories.

If Melody starts to show any discomfort and problems, I told Krystal to call the vet and get any medications necessary. At this point Melody needs to gain a little weight and clear the toxins from her system.

I'm not trying to keep any information from any our members. I've tried to post when necessary but felt that Krystal needs to express her feeling through her own posts. I'm keeping in close contact with her to make sure she knows all she has to do is make a phone call.

Their's more but I'll post after I finishing reading the posts and PM. Sorry about the delay.

Kathleen
One question Kathleen,

Is the Specialist in contact with either Dr. Tobias and/or Dr. Centers.......both are pioneers in the LS field and are very available to consultations. A suggestion I highly recommend in determining whether this wee one is a canidate for the surgery.
