thank you everyone for all the advice and help. I remember my old cocker spaniel used to scoot her butt all the time. But Izzy doesn't scoot at all. It seems to bother him the most, after we've gone outside to potty, especially from the cold? He looks uncomfortable, but not in pain. He's eating fine and playful as always, thank God. When we come in from the cold, whether he's had a bowel movement or not, he runs in and almost stops and tucks his tail under. Then he'll either go after his bottom or his back legs? I feel helpless. But then he's fine once he warms up?
