I have an area fenced for my little guys that is wooden lattice, tight to the ground, it is long and narrow, so that hawks can't get is / out... and they are never outside alone, for more than a minute or two, even when the weather is good.
I am in the country and there are predators around, including, but not limited to wild life! (children, neighbours dogs...)
I considered it for my big dogs until I realized that a wolf / coyote could walk right in!
I have tried them, on myself, and it isn't the shock that concerns me, it is the "illusion" of safety!!! |
