As a rule the nicer coats tend to part normally..so of it is due to repeated parting from grooming..like human hair pairing in the same place..it is trained to do it. A soft coat has to be worked on to get a part, then the dog can shake and it is gone! LOL The silk coat will fall back in place easier.
