If you have any antibiotic opthalmic ointment without steroids I'd apply that, get some to keep on hand when you're at the vets tomorrow. It could be irritated from a foreign body or a rub on the rug or furniture. I routinely clean my pups eyes and if they're the least bit irritated I apply the ointment until it clears. Mine were in a fight recently and one sustained a tiny bite wound to the inside of his lower lid. The vet missed it, but there was puss looking discharge the next day and when I applied the ointment I found it. It healed very quickly and I did have the vet check it on our recheck visit. The ab opthalmic ointment will sooth and coat the eye and help prevent swelling so the pup will be less likely to be scratching/rubbing the area possibly causing more damage, until you get to the vet. If you see a forein body, you may be able to remove it by very gently dragging a q-tip along the edges of the eyelid... no pressure applied at all.

Only use products made for the eyes. Anything else is way too strong and will cause damage. Never use Visine, only Natural tears or sterile saline solution for rinsing and cleaning the eye area.
