I have a black lab and a yorkie and they get along great. I had the lab for 2 1/2 years before we got our yorkie, but they took right to each other. My yorkie LOVES the lab and can't be away from her...they really are each other's companions. My lab is a pretty laid back dog so I think she has the temprement to get along with any animal. My yorkie thinks she is the alpha dog but if she is scared or upset she expects Molly to protect her and take care of her...very cute. My yorkie is a bit bigger than most...13 1/2 lbs to be exact...found out today. So she isn't as fragile as maybe a teacup yorkie would be, but my sister has a 4 lb yorkie who gets a long well with my dogs and can pretty much hold his own around them. I love s**t zhu's too so that would be a good breed...but 2 yorkies would be cute as well. If they come at the same time and from the same litter they will grow up not knowing any different.
