Hi! Sounds like you have done alot of your research already. Good for you!  Are you getting a presurgery blood work? I had mine do a CBC panel. I just had my Mia's done and we discussed using a gel sealant afterwards on a weekly basis. It's suppose to help keep the tarter down. You might ask about that. Hope all goes well!
