I posted about a month ago about my 10 month old yorkie pix being spayed late due to numerous health problems(bad breeder). Here is my update.
I was worried due to her size 3lbs. She did great! My vet found cysts on her ovaries and said her uterus was 3 times the normal size! She had stopped eating(was always picky eater)and just layed around. After the spay, she is a new girl!
She is eating great, attacking toys and doing the mad puppy run all over the house! I'm so glad! After thousands of dollars in vet bills this year, hopefully we will stay well for a while anyways!
Just thought I'd post maybe help others who are worried over the 3 pounders.
