I have heard small dogs can be very good and alpha with big dogs. So long as they are small and sturdy? I would be concerned that a two or three pound dog would get hurt. Heard so many sad stories on here about them being fragile. |
How horrible that someone would do something like that.
I was definitely concerned about the size difference with our dogs. My Yorkie is 8lbs so he isn't as tiny as some. I would really love a tiny Yorkie 2-3 lbs, but I don't think they could handle it with Bailey (the lab) She does get a little to rough for my liking sometimes. Although to be fair Duke will go over and jump on her, bite her ears and start most of the trouble..lol
I think if you socialize the dogs together and give them both lots of love you should be fine.
