I saw on me or the dog Victoria teach a puppy to drop it, she put a toy in the dogs mouth, then showed him the treat and let him smell it, the VERY SECOND he droped the toy to get the treat she said DROP IT, GOOD BOY gave the treat.. repeated until he grasped that if he released the toy he would get a treat...
