I was offended at the first post (and I don't even own a shihtzu), but the good of the others here on YT kept it fairly lighthearted for a while at least. If I don't like a certain kind of dog I'm gonna keep it to myself b/c this is a forum for DOG LOVERS. Personally, I took the first post to be along the lines of "what kind of nationalities of people do you not like?"

I agree with your post. I did not appreciate some of the OP's comments about Shih Tzus. Many people love this breed including me. The qualities that make a Shih Tzu a great pet for others were not qualities the OP appreciated. I see my Shih Tzu has a part of my family. I wish people would try to take the time to understand the breed's temperament before making negative comments about the breed. I now understand how some Pit Bull owners feel. I understand not everybody find Shih Tzus beautiful or love their personality. If you want to see some beautiful Shih Tzus, then look at some of the Shih Tzus at Shih Tzu Chatter Two. I love my dog's button nose. I always give her a little kiss on the nose.
