I forgot to add that Shih Tzus have a spunky personality. My Shih Tzu's spunky personality makes me laugh. It takes Shih Tzus longer to learn, because they can be obstinate. With positive, consistent, and patient training, Shi Tzus can learn a lot of tricks and commands. My Shih Tzu will learn anything for a treat. She gets excited when it is time to learn a new trick. Some Shih Tzus have behavioral problems, because their owner is not leader of the pack. When an owner is not leader of the pack, Shih Tzus can become snappish when surprised or peeved.
