I'm sure there are a few Shih Tzus out there that are awesome, so can somebody enlighten me on their good points?

Okay, I said it. It can't be unsaid now.
Shih Tzus are one of my favorite breeds. They look very glamorous with their long hair. At one time, I wanted to breed them, so I could have an endless supply of Shih Tzus for myself. LOL My Shih Tzu has a laidback personality, which I love. Shih Tzus love to play, but they are usually not hyperactive dogs. These dogs were breed to be friendly lap dogs for Chinese royalty. They do not like to be handled roughly, and they love to be spoiled. I chose this breed, because I wanted a calm and sweet lap dog that followed me around the house. My dog's main purpose is just to be my companion.
