I now have her wearing a flexible e-collar, but don't want to have to do this forever. She will be eight years old in April. She has always been on raw food -- Primal Nuggets and has done very well, along with a very small snack of Wysong Anergen (only lamb and rice dry) once a day. In the last few weeks she has now also developed soft stools. Vet recommended Omega 3's, but only fed these twice in small amounts, she can't tolerate fats. Allergy testing was quoted to me as $800.00 for the test and $200.00 for each vial of injectable serum to be given for the rest of her life. Help? Thank you in advance!!
what lab is that allergy testing done through ? as we had one done at bio-medical lab for $400 and spectrum labs for $400 seems kind of high- is that skin testing or blood testing? VARL i have heard is the most accurate lab for blood testing but blood cannot determine food allergy only enviromental so for food it is an elimination diet
