I can't really answer your question, because I have a similar issue. My baby Jimi LOVES cat food. (Whether it be wet food, dry food, treats, anything.) I've heard that dogs like cat food because it is higher in protein. To avoid him eating anything I have to keep my cat's food on the counter.

But.. if a piece falls, he is all over it.
