Krystal will be calling the vet first thing in the morning. I have a call into Tom but probably won't be in touch until tomorrow when he's at his office.
He'll know the answers about the vet care available at Davis.
My daughter was relived to hear I didn't make the drive to Mammoth Lakes. It wasn't 3 1/2 hours but 5 1/2 hours and with the ice, snow and fog, I'd probably be stuck somewhere in between. I have a dear friend that I was going to pull out of bed this morning to drive with me but she didn't think my idea was that great. They have a cabin in Mammoth and said, their's snow... Kathleen... I know you have a big heart and will do just about anything to save this baby but your sick... and your going into the hospital for surgery. Are you out of your mind... lol maybe but in my heart this was the right decision. Too bad the snow held me up or I would have been there.
I know the best decision was to leave Melody with Krystal and her family. With the proper medical care, she should improve. Let's just keep those prayers coming for her recovery.
I'll send an update in the morning after Krystal talks to the vet.

It was mentioned that you soon to undergo surgery yourself. I don't know how soon. Will you require assistance in coordinating this for wee Melody?
