I had the same issues with one of my girls....samples were sent into the lab, nothing found. Imagine and I took samples in with tapeworms in it......Nothing Found....I went screaming into the vets office, telling them that needed to find another lab. When I handed over the last sample, the vet tech that took it even commented.....Tape Worms.

Now keep in mind, that there are 2 types of tapeworms so, you have to make sure that the dewormer they provide you covers both.

One of the reasons your pup is not gaining is because of the tapeworms. My gosh he could very well be anemic.
