I have the BEST NEWS! *happy dance* *happy dance* *happy dance*
So first, me and hubs went down to the free spay/neuter clinic an HOUR early on Saturday morning (6 a.m.) to get in line - um, yeah, they were already FULL
. We were pretty bummed.
Later that morning, I ran to Petsmart to pick up Ambrey her ginormous chews and I saw a sign for a rescue group who was there, so I talked to them for a long while and he thought they could sponsor Ambrey if we were willing to foster - I could NOT believe my ears as
no other rescue I've talked to here could do anything for us
.
So, we brought Ambrey by the Petsmart, and then I talked to the Pres. of
Valley Dogs Rescue and Ambrey is now sponsored by them
! We will still foster her (as they are full), but they will guide us and everything. She will be getting spayed w/ one of their wonderful vets this week, and she already has her own ad on their site.
They are just INCREDIBLE. Considering how unresponsive most of the rescues have been to us here in Phx the last 2 weeks w/ Ambrey...I am seriously so blown away by Valley Dogs. We are so HAPPY for Ambrey
. We now feel like she has the best chance of finding a
great forever home.
