no i use purina ha for my ibd dog and my mvd dog as it is low in fat and low in protein and it is a hydrolized soy food but not all dogs will eat it due to the taste - if the liver is not functioning 100% the body is not fully detoxing through elimination so it can come through the skin thus causing skin issues
