No, no post-op check. I was never told to come in for one...and when I noticed it was healing nicely I didn't even think about it anymore.
I took him to a local spay/neuter clinic because I couldn't afford my vet's cost (over $300). I called them but they're closed on Mondays and I don't even know if they would even cover the cost of whatever treatment he needs now with the infection.
