JoJo had been waking up all night long to lick his "private parts", and after a while it dawned on me that it was getting obsessive so I looked down there and was shocked to see his neuter incision from November 25th was very red, swollen, and looked very infected. There's also what looks like a small cut, or slit, on top of the swelling. I thought it had healed just fine and up until now it looked fine. I called the emergency clinic number and I was told to contact one closer to my home after 8am to schedule an appointment. Well, so much for the "emergency" aspect of that place...if I had to make an appointment I'd have waited to contact my regular vet.

I'm very concerned and wondering why this happened so long after his neuter. Has anyone else experienced this?
