here is what i would do if she was mine - i would fast her for 12 hrs take her in and do pre bile with the cbc panel and cpli then take food to vets or if you live close take her home feed her then 2 hrs on the dot she has to have blood drawn for post bile acids so if you think she will eat at vets office do it there then hang out in car and read for 2 hrs then get her back right on time for that post - this way only two blood draws and yorkies should have bile acids done anyway

I would do this because she needs a check anyway and also i would take in a urine sample from back of wee wee pad and fecal as i do blood work, fecal and urine once a year on all three of mine

I would do it this way because if you have blood panel done and they want to test liver you will have to have 3 blood draws instead of two which will be more stressful on your dog. They check the urine for crystals associated with liver issue so you want urine checked as well

My dog has mvd and i was furious as vet just did post bile and blood panel and so i had to take my dog back in for pre and post after and had i known i would have done the pre and post along with cbc from the get go - it would have been cheaper and less stressful on dee dee
