The only suggestion the vet said, possibly run an EKG on her, possible liver shunt is why she is so skinny. However I did not read anything on low heartrate being a symptom of liver shunt. She said give her 2 weeks to monitor her behaviour. I will have a different vet next time because she also gave me Interceptor for heartworms and I have been advised not to give your dog this medicine unless a heartworm test has been done first or it can kill your dog. Luckily have not given it to her yet, I will send in a fecal sample tommorow and I am treating her for worms in the meantime in case. She is really sweet just low energy and looks sad.
