She is probably just a bit frightened. Most of them act that way when rehomed.

Just give her time...and plenty of her own space. Let her be the one to show you when she is ready for attention.

She also may have a poor appetite for a few days. I have seen some of them not eat at all for a couple of days.

Someone else just went through this recently. I will try to find that thread for you.

And, yes, good idea to get her to the vet for a check up!
