Don't feel bad. Bandit, who's never had an accident on the couch, and is almost 3 years old, peed on my DH ON the couch a few weeks ago I had given him a bath and for some reason he drinks bath water (maybe because it's warm) so I told DH he'd have to go out soon. So a half hour later and 4 reminders (or nags as he calls them) Bandit stood up, lifted his leg, and peed all over him!!! That's what you get for ignoring us to play video games haha

Now that--is hysterical! To the OP, we have a microfiber couch that is beige. I've spilled several things and have had several deep pen marks. We are always able to get the stain right out with just water, a fabric type spray and a towel. It's odd...but over a few days...the stain slowly disappears. I'm not sure about the pee because you are trying to get the smell out too but I bet that the steam vac will work. I was just saying that we need to get a new couch but now--maybe we'll wait.
