I'm not going to speak for the entire breed, but when I was a teenager my parents got me a dalmatian (this was when the movie came out and they were the "it" dog to have!). This was the most retarded dog I have ever met in my life! It didn't matter how much time and effort we spent trying to train this dog, he would do nothing but bite and snip at us (not in an angry way, but just playing) like that was the only way he knew how to play! It was so aggrevating and I was so upset because he was the first (and last) dog I ever had and I was so excited about getting him! It got to the point to where you better have on some old clothes that you hated when you went around him, because they were going to be destroyed! But, I hear storied that most of them are ridiculous like this! |
